K. K. Aggarwal (born 1948) is a engineer, professor and eminent I.T. expert. He was the founder vice chancellor of the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University.[1] He served as the president of the Computer Society of India for the period 2007-2009 and also has held the position of vice-president of South East Asia Regional Computer Confederation for the period of 2008-09 and then as a president for 2009-10.[2]

Academic Life

K.K. Aggarwal obtained his engineering degree in electronics and communication from Panjab University in 1968 and M.Sc.-engineering in advanced electronics from Kurukshetra University in 1971. He got his Ph.d. from Kurukshetra University with a thesis on Reliability Evaluation and Optimization in 1975, in the same year he became the professor at an age little more of 27.[3][4]
